Celebrating Art and Artists: Leonardo da Vinci The Great Artist of the Year 2023-24 Award Ceremony
On December 25, 2024, Kala Sankul in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, came alive with creativity and celebration as the Kalakunj Foundation hosted the Leonardo da Vinci The Great Artist of the Year 2023-24 Award Ceremony. The event honored outstanding contributions in the field of art, with eminent international sculptor Naresh Kumawat gracing the occasion as the chief guest.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Shri Naresh Kumawat, followed by an enchanting Odissi dance performance by child artist Akshita Pandey from Bhiwadi, captivating the audience with her grace and talent.
Prominent personalities such as Laxman Kumar, Vijay Pal (President of Colour Canvas), Shyam Kishore (Sansad TV), Meetu Pareek, and Suman Ji were present as special guests to lend their support and encouragement.
This year, 251 artists from across the country participated in the Twentieth International Online Art Program. After a rigorous selection process, 66 artists were chosen for the prestigious Leonardo da Vinci The Great Artist of the Year Award 2024, and over 35 artists were felicitated during the ceremony by Shri Naresh Kumawat. These artists were recognized for their exceptional work and contributions to the field of art, receiving mementos and certificates as tokens of appreciation.
