Akshaya Kalayatra–2: Poorab marks the next chapter of Hina Bhatt Art Ventures’ nationwide artistic movement, Akshaya Kalayatra – Creating a Mega National Canvas. Following the successful completion of the Southern, Northern, and Central zone editions, the initiative now arrives in the Eastern zone with a vibrant five-day celebration of art, culture, and creative dialogue.
Held at the Don Bosco Institute of Management, Guwahati, this edition brings together an exceptional group of artists from across the East and Northeast—representing Assam, West Bengal, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tripura, Mizoram, Odisha, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and more. Their diverse lived experiences, artistic languages, and cultural narratives merge into a rich collective expression that embodies the soul of Poorab.
Curated by Hina Bhatt, Founder of Hina Bhatt Art Ventures (HBAV), and co-ordinated by Kaushlesh Kumar, Akshaya Kalayatra–2: Poorab continues HBAV’s commitment to building strong platforms where artists are seen, supported, and celebrated. This nationwide zone-wise initiative not only showcases regional artistic excellence but also offers artists a meaningful opportunity for visibility, engagement, and recognition on a national stage.
