EXHIBITION DEPICTING THE DIVERSITY OF INDIAN ART INAUGURATION OF CREATIVE WAVE EXHIBITION
A group art exhibition ‘Creative Wave’ organized by Manikarnika Art Gallery at Artizen Gallery, Delhi from 18th to 20th March 2023. Paintings and crafts of artists from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan etc. will be displayed in this exhibition.
Manikarnika Art Gallery is located in Jhansi, UP which has organized several online as well as offline exhibitions in the past. Apart from this, art dialogues and art camps have been organized and art events have also been organized for children
In this exhibition senior artists Chandra Shekhar Kale, Manoj Pawar, Sunita Lamba, Ved Prakash Bhardwaj, Anjali Prabhakar, Arjun Eknath Dalvi, Ashish Mohan, Bodhraj Baldhotra, Dr. Amrit Kapoor, Dhruv Sehta, Dr. Praveen Sultana, Gawri Shankar, Jaspreet Mohan Singh, Works by 52 artists including Kishan Soni, Mrinal Kumar Dev Sharma, Palak Jain, Ramendra Kumar Khare, Rekha Gupta, Rudrayam Dutta, Sharad N Huddar, Suman Gupta, Dr Bharti Parmar are included.
The exhibition was inaugurated by senior art critic and poet Prayag Shukla and Program Director of ICCR Mr. Amit Sahni Mathur. On this occasion, senior artist Mr. MK Puri, in-charge of Garhi Center of Lalit Kala Akademi, Dr. Gayatri Mathur, artists Mr. CS Kale, Sunita Lamba etc. were present as special guests.
The exhibition includes artists from different generations active in contemporary art. Each artist has expressed different aspects of life in his paintings and sculptures. Some artist has painted the feeling of love and coexistence in personal and social life, while some artists have expressed natural beauty. This exhibition can be called a representative exhibition of the contemporary creative wave.
The curator of the exhibition, artist Kamini Baghel, has taken care in the selection of artworks that they should have creativity as well as the specialty of the artist. She says that through this exhibition it has been my endeavour to provide a platform to established senior artists as well as young artists.
