Ruturaj: A Celebration of Life by Hina Bhatt
Artist Hina Bhatt is bringing her solo exhibition, “Ruturaj: A Celebration of Life,” to the Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. The show will run from August 26th to September 1st, 2025.
Inspired by a timeless verse from the Bhagavad Gita—”Among the seasons, I am spring”—Bhatt’s work sees spring as more than just a season. In Indian philosophy, it’s a powerful symbol of renewal, joy, and divine abundance. It’s that perfect moment when nature awakens, flowers bloom, and all of life seems to burst forth in full, vibrant expression.
Bhatt beautifully captures this feeling in her art, which serves as a visual and spiritual meditation. Her paintings go beyond simple landscapes, reflecting the moods, emotions, and energies that mirror the eternal rhythm of life.
