Contemporary artist Anjali Mittal presents her solo exhibition Breaking Barriers from 25th to 28th February 2026 at the Convention Foyer, India Habitat Center, New Delhi.
Breaking Barriers is a journey through emotion, memory, and intuition, expressed predominantly through shades of blue. For the artist, blue is not merely a colour—it is a language carrying calm and depth, introspection and movement, silence and intensity, often all at once.
Deeply inspired by nature—the sea, flowers, clouds, and mountains—Mittal’s work is layered and expressive. “I do not paint what I see; I paint what I feel,” she shares. Each canvas evolves organically, moving freely between realism and abstraction, retaining spontaneity and inner rhythm through expressive brushstrokes and layered colour.
In this exhibition, the artist consciously breaks the barrier of a single theme, allowing each work to emerge naturally from her wandering, searching mind. Breaking Barriers invites viewers to step into her inner landscape and experience the stories unfolding through her canvas.
The exhibition is open to all art lovers and connoisseurs.
