GENESIS–26: A Confluence of Vision, Legacy, and Contemporary Indian Art

GENESIS–26, a landmark artistic odyssey conceived by FAME (Finetouch Art Motivators and Educators), unfurled its radiant spirit at the prestigious AIFACS Art Gallery, Rafi Marg, New Delhi, on 2nd January 2026. The exhibition opened as a moment of rare convergence—where vision, legacy, and contemporary expression met in celebration.
The inauguration was graced by an illustrious assembly of luminaries from the art world: Shri Biman B. Das, President of AIFACS; and S. Dalip Hitkari, Director of Shanta Art Gallery. Their presence lent both gravitas and warmth to an evening devoted to creative excellence.
Curated with discernment and poetic sensitivity by Ms. Balwinder Tanwar and Mr. Ravindra Kumar Tanwar, GENESIS–26 presented a compelling constellation of paintings, sculptures, and photographic works, reflecting the pulse of India’s contemporary artistic landscape. The exhibition unfolded like a visual chronicle—tracing the evolution of form, thought, and technique that defines the present moment in Indian art.

In his address, Shri Biman B. Das, graciously acknowledged the exceptional merit of each participating artist, applauding their dedication and expressive depth. S. Dalip Hitkari echoed this sentiment, offering heartfelt admiration for the collective artistic spirit that resonated throughout the gallery.

The exhibition brought together 21 accomplished and emerging artists, each contributing a distinct visual voice to this harmonious symphony. Rooted in personal narratives, thematic inquiry, and mastery of medium, their works invited viewers into spaces of contemplation, emotion, and intellectual dialogue—creating an immersive sensorial experience.
