Empowering Artists and Fostering Creativity
Hina Bhatt Art Foundation is a Pune-based, Non- Profit Organisation that aims to empower and encourage artists around the country. Founded on the principles of inclusivity, innovation, and empowerment, HBAF is dedicated to making art accessible to everyone, creating a platform where artistic expression thrives and becomes a force for positive change.
The foundation has been conducting online competitions and events that focus on various forms of art. The primary aim of these events is to create meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts, enriching the art community as a whole.
“Saksham Kalakaar” is a program under HBAF meant to promote the all-round development of artists. Under this banner, HBAF conducts numerous workshops and events with the aim to empower the artist and harness their skills. This includes promoting artists, raising funds to support their art and encouraging a continued learning of the artistic process. The Saksham Kalakaar program has been designed with the purpose of creating new opportunities for budding and established artists to create and showcase art across multiple platforms and audiences. HBAF thus helps these artists to enhance their skill sets and capabilities so they can evolve and thrive as a successful artist in this creative world.
HBAF gives cash awards to artists, art curators and art researchers. The prize money is meant to be used to hold solo exhibitions. HBAF doesn’t stop at giving wings to the awardees. It becomes the wind beneath those wings too. So the artists not only get help from the foundation for organizing their exhibition but also get inputs and assistance to handle the media and publicity of their event. The director of the foundation, Mrs. Hina Bhatt, personally attends the exhibition to encourage and support the artist.
