Acclaimed contemporary artist Sima Patel is set to present her solo exhibition titled “NAARITVA” at the prestigious Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, from 25th June to 29th June 2025. The exhibition will feature a striking collection of over 30 artworks, each celebrating the spirit, strength, and soulful journey of womanhood.

An Ahmedabad-based artist, Sima Patel has created over 1000 artworks across a wide range of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolors, graphite, and even coffee. Her signature collection, Naaritva, meaning “essence of womanhood,” is a powerful visual narrative that explores the many facets of the female identity—resilient, nurturing, bold, and graceful.

Sima’s journey is as inspiring as her work. Though she showed artistic promise at the age of eight, her path initially led her into science and homemaking. It wasn’t until 2008 that her dormant passion reignited, leading her to pursue formal art education in Ahmedabad. Since then, she has earned several national accolades and showcased her work in leading galleries across India.

About the Exhibition – “NAARITVA”

Each painting in the Naaritva series captures the layered experiences of women—celebrating their individuality, struggles, traditions, and triumphs. With vibrant palettes, intricate forms, and emotional depth, the collection invites viewers to reflect on the evolving roles and eternal strength of women across cultures and generations.

“Through Naaritva, I want to honor the timeless grace, power, and emotion that define womanhood,” says Sima Patel. “Every canvas is a tribute to the many voices of the feminine spirit.”
