Sarbabharatiya’s Art Fare – 2026
Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad, a legendary cultural and diploma board carrying a legacy since 1976, is set to organise its first-ever art fair, “Sarbabharatiya’s Art Fare – 2026,” at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, from 13th to 19th September 2026.
The seven-day art fair will be inaugurated at 4:00 PM on September 13, 2026, in the presence of eminent personalities from the fields of art, culture and education, along with participating artists and distinguished guests.
A unique feature of the event is that, for perhaps the first time, a cultural diploma board dedicated to performing and fine arts will organise an art fair across all the galleries of the Academy of Fine Arts premises. Around 120 table spaces are being allotted to participating artists, providing them with an opportunity to display and sell their artworks, including paintings, sculptures and other art-related materials.
The fair will bring together a diverse group of artists, with Beni Madhab Sarkar, Benoy Dalui, Jayanta Banik, Kanchan Mistry, Pulak Karmakar, Samir Karmakar, Susanta Sarkar, among many others, showcasing their artworks. The participation of artists from varied creative backgrounds is expected to make the fair a vibrant platform for artistic exchange, interaction and appreciation.
Established in 1976, Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad has been working towards creating intellectual and cultural awareness and promoting systematic education in performing and fine arts across India and beyond. The organisation affiliates cultural institutions, conducts theory and practical examinations based on a structured syllabus, and offers an academic journey ranging from the Primary level to the 7th Year (Ratna), spanning 11 years.
The Parishad also regularly organises cultural programmes, art exhibitions, art camps, art fairs and seasonal cultural events, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing artistic talent and preserving India’s rich cultural heritage.
“Sarbabharatiya’s Art Fare – 2026” marks another significant milestone in the Parishad’s journey to promote artists, encourage public engagement with art and strengthen the ecosystem of art and culture.
