RARE LUXURY UNVEILS AN EXCLUSIVE EXHIBITION “ART MAESTROS” AT HAUZ KHAS, NEW DELHI
Rare Luxury, the distinguished art gallery founded by renowned art patron Ankur Shingal, proudly presented an exclusive curated exhibition featuring seminal works by some of India’s most celebrated modern and contemporary masters.
The exhibition brought together an exceptional collection of artworks by Surendran Nair, Jyoti Bhatt, Sakti Burman, and Thota Vaikuntam, offering collectors, art connoisseurs, patrons, and enthusiasts a rare opportunity to experience and acquire works by these iconic artists under one roof.
The exhibition preview was held on 20 June 2026, followed by public viewing from 21 June to 25 June 2026 at Rare Luxury, Hauz Khas, New Delhi.
The opening evening was graced by eminent personalities from the fields of art, architecture, and culture, including Padma Shri Biman Bihari Das, architect and artist Naveen Vij, Vijay Pal Founder Colour Canvas Newspaper, Senior Artist Neerja Peters along with several distinguished guests, collectors, patrons, and members of the art fraternity.
Featured Artists
Surendran Nair was one of the foremost voices in contemporary Indian art. His densely layered allegorical paintings wove together mythology, literature, and the absurdities of modern life. His richly theatrical canvases were populated with figures drawn from Kerala’s classical traditions and reimagined through a lens of wit and philosophical inquiry.
Jyoti Bhatt, a pioneering figure in Indian modernism, showcased works that reflected his mastery of painting, printmaking, and photography. His deep engagement with the folk and tribal art traditions of Gujarat infused his visual language with cultural depth and vitality.
Thota Vaikuntam presented his iconic figurative works depicting the people and culture of Telangana. His bold lines, vibrant palette, and monumental portrayals celebrated cultural identity with dignity and authenticity.
